Everyone on disability cuts
Disabled people are suffering disproportionately from the cuts! As council social care budgets are cut back, many disabled people are loosing their independence and are trapped at home unable to go out. I am horrified that disabled people who desperately rely on these services are being penalised for having a disability.

Due to many of the cuts, mainly disabiblity alowance, ema and alg many people will not beable to get into college due to lack of travels money after june
I personally get EMA when it stop's im not sure if ill beable to afford to continue my course unless is get a job but according to goverment im not allowed to work more than 9 hours a week while at college, not enough to survive

Hi Alexander - From September you might be able to get help through an enhanced discretionary learner support fund which is replacing EMA. It will be managed by schools, colleges and training providers and it will be up to them to decide who is eligible - more info here http://tinyurl.com/6f4de2z. I'm in sixthform hopeing to go to uni in two years but as ema is being stoped, which I depend on as I live alone and don't think I will be able to carry on with my AS/A2 course
