Is the government listening?
We'd like to know if you think the government listens to what young people have to say, what do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below, thanks.

almost 2 years agoThe government do listen to young people however like the above comments suggests, implementation is a different ball game all together. It seems the government go ahead with whatever decisions they have made up thier minds to implement. The tuition fees increase is a perfect example.

almost 2 years agoI agree with Onyere Kene completely. The Government just talk to young people to tick a box and then act out the policy they wanted not the one young people ask for or the changes the young people wanted in the policy in the first place.

almost 2 years agoFor over 2000 years now the governors have not listened to the children. Lets not kid ourselves here, they don't care about any of us. They, like some of the FAKE people using this site, only care about money.

almost 2 years agoI don't think it's about money. I think it is about that they treat young people like me and many others as people who's comment are wrong or too far fetched for something that could be implemented into a credible policy.

almost 2 years agoI think it often depends on the department, I also think people are right about it being listening, but not necessarily following what we say, but I don't think that just applies to youth consultations, but to all age groups.
For example the people they take the most notice of have connections, money and power in industry and young people are less likely to have that...
A positive example of... Read more

almost 2 years agoBecause it gives our civilization some kind of order. I'm not saying that it couldn't be distributed more fairly because it definitely could, but it gives people who do jobs that don't have a physical reward in themselves (such as a doctor) pay for their work. There, you have a reply :)
I want money not to be important.
I want life to be important.
Am I greedy ?
A monetary lead world is how we fail.

almost 2 years agoI could be wrong but aside from your insultive comments, you seem to think COMMUNISM was actually tried. I think you'll find "money" was still a problem. Russia China and any other 'attempt' at communism was doomed to fail for the same reason. Unless you know of a communist state that wasn't affected by greed based systemics. Naturally, if you know of a good system that works, you might want to... Read more

almost 2 years agoPrecisely! I do not know any communist state that wasn’t affected by greed! I know of no system that will not be affected by greed! Which is why, the ideal – a non money based, the closest of which is communism – is, as things, stand either impossible or highly improbable. Money will still have to be used.
That’s it. That’s the end of the argument. You yourself agree that those “attempt(s)” have... Read more

almost 2 years agoI was looking through your previous posts and I saw something that I did not take into account when I purported communism/socialism as the closes to a non money based system. I’ll quote it:
“Socialism and Communism are two systems that were both LIES. Both contained GREED in the foundations. That does mean, that both were never actually tried. The Community / Society needs a revolution.
Combined... Read more -

A high ranking and seemingly unhappy russian army officer asked of one of his troops: WHY IS THAT FENCE NOT PAINTED and the reply was "because we have no paint".
The world system is monetary based and collateral damage is unimportant and mostly untold. Have you really... Read more

almost 2 years agoWe now live in a world where a poor man can be robbed by the system and get an apology at the same time, yet the system does NOT give him his possesions back.
Just a quick question:
If you could campaign about anything in the world and know that it would change something what would it be?

almost 2 years agoPrejudice against homosexuals. More should be done to teach people that it's not a choice and not all homosexuals are freaks. Especially in high schools where a lot of people have self-esteem issues anyway.

I think it is interesting to consider a world where everyone has enough money? Would we all spend spend on ourselves or would we be more generous?
Would we forget about other limits, for example even if money isn't a problem, we still have a finite amount of land to grow food on, a finite earth for people to live on and to throw rubbish on and our health is also limited, we can't control it. If... Read more
